It’s high time we encourage each woman and appreciate their contribution and what can be better than the entertainment industry to take the charge?

The entertainment industry across the globe is extremely impactful. People idealize their favorite stars and listen to what they say and what they believe in. They have their idols and they obey them and try to inject into their life the lessons of their idols.

Thus, there are people from the entertainment industry that are coming out and encouraging women’s empowerment in their beautiful ways. In this article, we will be discussing the music albums in the last few years that have strengthened the women’s empowerment campaign in their ways.

Let’s have a look at them!

Women Empowerment Albums That Need to be on Your List

DUA LIPA by Dua Lipa

The song ‘Dua Lipa’ has 70 million plus views on YouTube. It’s a massive hit among the masses, especially the youth. The song’s music is powerful and so are its lyrics. This album has songs that talk about self-empowerment and self-love. These songs talk about the importance of self-validation and how much it is crucial to respect and love yourself first before expecting it from others.

Even in one of her music videos, she is surrounded by other girls, and at one point they are holding signs, one of them reading “Dua for President,” which is such a powerful image for a female. It somewhere screams about the power that women hold and that it’s high time to recognize it.

TWICE ALBUMS by South Korean Girls

South Korean girls are the flag bearer of women empowerment. These girls are idols for young girls across the world and symbolises the competitive spirit of a woman as they compete with male singers and male-oriented bands at the international level. Their latest release, ‘Twice Album’, reflects the same.

This album, Twice Album, is one of the most successful albums across the globe and has registered its name in top-notch music lists. If you haven’t heard it yet, buy it online and tune in. you will feel the energy that these girls have. This girls’ band will ignite a fire in you that will make you fight for your dreams.

RAINBOW, Kesha

Making a strong and powerful return to music, Kesha released this album in August, filled with many empowering ballads, most known as “Praying.” Coming back from her struggle with her music agency and the lawsuit she filed for sexual assault against Dr. Luke, Kesha’s new set of songs is so liberating. In one song, “Woman,” one can immediately feel empowered listening to her strong voice, “I don’t need a man to be holding me too tight.”

Her songs will remind each girl that they don’t need a warrior, they just need a sword to fight their battle. Girls are not mediocre. They are equally potential.

 Summary

Women empowerment is a motion that should only be enforced by women, but by everyone, because in reality we all need each other to live and survive and so we should treat all equally. This movement is not for a world that is given by women but for a world that has equal opportunities for both men and women.

When each woman will realize that they are complete in themselves and each man will realize that they are not superior, this world will become an ideal place to exist.

The above-mentioned albums are tiny but impactful steps towards a world that measures men and women with the same weighing scale.
